Selected essay ‘Art and the Artist: The name is not the thing’ from SSA Professional Member, Phil McLoughlin
The SSA Essay Project is intended to highlight the creative thinking of our members and to provide a platform for expressing and sharing our opinions on Art, Life and the World.
We are delighted to be collaborating with Live Borders for the first time to present an exhibition of work by SSA Members with the compelling theme of ‘Threads’. The exhibition includes work by invited artist, Denise Zygadlo alongside selected works by SSA Members who responded to themes explored in the Great Tapestry of Scotland.
