Curatorial Assistant

Grade 5 –  £20,781 – £24,057 (pro rata) Part – time 0.5 FTE (Fixed term: 24 months)

Cooper Gallery in Dundee is offering an exciting opportunity for a creative and dedicated individual to join the team as Curatorial Assistant. Deadline for applications is:  Midnight, Sunday 3rd  May 2015. 

The Curatorial Assistant will assist the Curator, and work with other members of the Exhibitions team, in the planning, development, realisation implementation and dissemination of the programme of exhibitions, events and publishing, both internally and externally. Under the direction of the Curator, the role-holder leads on the public engagement aspects of the programme, plays an important role in the Annual Degree Shows (Undergraduate and Masters) and liaises closely with the DJCAD Press and Marketing Officer. The Curatorial Assistant will also be expected to co-ordinate the Exhibitions administration and support a major international project during 2015 and 2016.
