Lead Artist
FALKIRK COMMUNITY TRUST seek to engage an artist, working within the public realm, to contribute to the re-imaging of Denny town centre and in particular the creation of a new town square.
The selected artist will have the skills, abilities and aptitude to:
· work directly with the local communities to help them to realise their vision for the space;
· promote understanding of how public art can contribute to defining a place;
· provide direct aesthetic and thematic input to the development of plans and designs for the new town square area and its relationship to the adjacent new mixed use buildings.
The contract will run for 12 months commencing September 2013.
The fee for the project is £25k. This sum is inclusive of travel/ subsistence.
