Sponsored by Towry, the Wealth Adviser, this annual open competition aims to nurture creative talent from emerging and established artists, and last year saw the highest ever number of entries submitted from across the UK for consideration by the panel of judges.
Mediums including painting, drawing, photography, original prints, wall hung installations and computer generated art may be submitted for the competition. Approximately 100 shortlisted works will be selected for exhibition, presented for the first time at London’s Somerset House from 18 September – 26 October 2014, before touring to the Minerva Theatre, Chichester. The prize winning works will be shown at the award winning Pallant House Gallery, Chichester in November, alongside its extensive collection of Modern British art.
