SSA ENGRAMME ARTIST EXCHANGE 2025

The Society of Scottish Artists is delighted to be offering an exciting international exhibition opportunity in collaboration with Engramme.

SSA Members based in Scotland working in printmaking are invited to apply for this prestigious award of a solo exhibition in Quebec, Canada which will take place in Winter 2025/2026.

Engramme is an artist-run centre devoted to the promotion of original printmaking and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022.

Now in its thirteenth year, this partnership between the Society of Scottish Artists and Engramme has created a vibrant dialogue between artists based in Scotland and Canada.

We continue this creative collaboration by offering an artist from Scotland the opportunity to exhibit in Quebec. In exchange, we will invite an artist based in Canada to exhibit in Scotland as part of the 127th SSA Annual Exhibition.

The award includes:
Use of Engramme’s contemporary gallery plus supervision.
Fee of £500 from SSA towards shipping works for the exhibition.
Promotion of the exhibition, including the printing and mail out of invitation cards, online and distribution of a press release to the Quebec media.

Due to the nature of this project, applicants are expected to have a significant body of work, from which a selection can be made for the exhibition.
