Brenda Moody (formerly Boardman), after many years living in Warwickshire, has returned to her roots on the border between Scotland and England. After a career in marketing, she studied Textiles at Heriot-Watt and Loughborough University where she graduated with a 1st Class Honours in Printed Textiles.  She has taught many students through her workshops on sketchbooks, screen printing and machine embroidery.  Her own work in mixed media and free motion stitch, focuses on the garden and landscapes, exhibiting and selling pictures and wall hangings through Open Studios and Art Exhibitions.
