As an artist, I am preoccupied with concepts surrounding metamorphosis and transformation. Using sculpture as a way to express my ideas, the art that I create is often unusual and unhuman but the ideas behind the work are based on very real human feelings and experiences.  

I chose to display some very different found objects alongside the glass sculptures in my degree show work. The bulbous forms provide a sensitive and fragile presence and convey a sense of movement, like large creatures, they weigh heavily on the structure supporting them.
