On reading an article  about how and where  different journalists prefer to work I was struck by one who started his piece with a broad theme and as he worked ideas came and he developed them.  This is how I work; I have an idea of what I want to do but the actual activity of ‘doing’ sparks off ideas and directions other than those expected. Working in my large garden and biology degree , as well as amazing juxtaposition of leaf shape, structural impositions of trees and  array of colours within fabulous countryside all feed into the mix.
