Sit in / Take away
Sit in / Take away – affordable art exhibition
EXHIBITION OPEN:
5 December – 20 December 2014
In the run up to Christmas, visitors to the SSA Annual Exhibition this year will also find a one-off exhibit with a difference.
Sit In/Take Away is a section of the Annual Exhibition that offers a range of beautiful, original and affordable artworks by SSA Members, which can be purchased, wrapped and taken away on the same day.
This is another opportunity for members to show work at the SSA Annual Exhibition. The works will be displayed in a way that allows them to be bought and taken away there and then!
This opportunity is open to all SSA Members, and can be in any medium that can be displayed on a shelf – i.e. self-supporting works that can rest on the shelf and lean against the wall. All pieces must be 30 cm x 30 cm – this can include a mount for smaller works to bring them to the required size. All works must be for sale with a maximum cost of £250 (including standard SSA *commission). Works can include drawings, prints, paintings, photographs, mixed media – as long as it is 30cm x 30cm. Editions are also very welcome.
This is a great opportunity for all participating artists, and will be widely publicised. Our overall aim is to create a vibrant wall full of interesting and affordable works of art.
