Writing About Your Practice | Society of Scottish Artists

Get practical advice about how to write a clear and effective artist statement, as well as tips for writing applications for exhibitions, residencies and funding, in this session with Moira Jeffrey. From content and style to presentation, this session will provide guidance on how best to communicate your ideas, processes and work to different audiences, as well as tips on editing your writing. Moira is a critical writer, editor and researcher with a wealth of experience in the contemporary art sector spanning more than two decades. She currently teaches arts journalism at university level, and is also Advocacy and Development Lead for the Scottish Contemporary Art Network (SCAN).
